Norman W. Schwartzkopf, age 68, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, July 6, 2011.
Norm was born April 24, 1943, in Neenah, the son of Herman and Zela (Wendler) Schwartzkopf. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Grauberger on November 16, 1963, in Neenah. Prior to his retirement, Norm was employed with Gilbert Paper Co. for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, mowing his yard, and watching TV-Little House, Clint Eastwood, Sanford & Son, Price is Right, and the Three Stooges were his favorites; he liked sports events too-Brewer baseball, Packer football and auto racing. Norm truly enjoyed his retirement and his doggie, Ace.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; two sons, Scott Schwartzkopf and Todd (Jody) Schwartzkopf, of Neenah; two daughters, Carrie (Jack) DeBruin and Kim (Brad) Kososki, of Neenah; his grandchildren: Eric (Kyra) DeBruin, Tia Schwartzkopf, Randall Kososki, Christopher Kososki; and two stepgranddaughters, Nicole Marzejon and Tawny Hornes; a brother, Richard (Nancy) Schwartzkopf, Menasha; a sister, Karen (Ralph) Kemps, Neenah; Norm is further survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncle, a special friend, Jim Howard, and other friends.
The Memorial Service for Norm will be Saturday, July 9, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at Neenah’s Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Huff officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
