Pearl L. Lutz, of Appleton, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, at her home.
Pearl was born in Waupaca, the daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel (Kersling) Brown. She was united in marriage to Wilson “Woody” Lutz on February 1, 1975, in Waukegan, Illinois. Prior to her retirement, Pearl was employed with the Smith-Corona Company in Illinois. The Lutz’s have lived in Appleton since 1987. Pearl loved baking-from the fruitcakes she created to the cookies she would bake for Woody to take to work for the guys at the foundry. They loved traveling and spent their 25th anniversary in Hawaii on Maui.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Wilson; a son, Richard (Rosella) Barlow; her grandchildren: Richard, Beverly, Sandra, Joyce, Debra, and Heather; her great grandchildren: Ashley, Michael, Jake, Shanda, Jake, Blake, Terry, Josh, Taylor, Stephanie, Seth, and Hannah; and her great-great grandchildren: Aiden, Victoria, Jordan, and Lilly. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruth, and former spouse, Richard.
Private family services for Pearl will be held at Menasha’s Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Huff officiating.
