Montgomery, Bette M.

Bette M. Montgomery, nee Sitzberger, age 86, passed away on Monday morning, April 23, 2012 at Prairie Homes Assisted Living. She was born on October 6, 1925 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Jack and Stella (Wagner) Sitzberger. She was a graduate of Fond du Lac High School. On July 30, 1949 she married Andrews Montgomery, the couple moved to California for many years before returning to the Appleton Area. Bette was passionate about her work at Bee Frank’s, where she was employed for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andy; and a special cousin, Harry Sitzberger.

The Funeral Mass for Bette will be on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Parish (222 E. Fremont Street) with Rev. Tony Ibekwe officiating. Interment will be next to her beloved husband in Highland Memorial Park.
