ROLLIE S. NAIL JR.

Rolland S. “Rollie” Nail Jr., of Neenah, age 70, passed away following a brief illness on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. He was born in Indianapolis, IN, on February 7, 1942, son of the late Rolland Sr. and Jean (Smith) Nail.

Rollie graduated from Purdue University in 1964 and then earned his MBA in 1965. He married Janet Hancock on August 8, 1964 in Indianapolis. Rollie was employed with Kimberly-Clark from 1965-1997 where he held various positions, the last 15 years in World Support.

Rollie enjoyed boating, woodworking, driving his Porsche’s, the Packers, auto racing and spending the winter months in Peoria, AZ, where he was a founding member and the President of the STEM Club. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Rollie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Neenah and Spirit Song Methodist Church in Peoria, AZ.

Survivors include his wife, Janet; two children: Marcy (Todd) Wray, Neenah, Sam (Tessa) Nail, Neenah; four grandchildren: Alex and Sara Wray, Max and Maddie Nail; a brother, John Nail, Noblesville, IN; a sister, Sharon (Bob) Boynton, Bardstown, KY; a sister-in-law, Marcia Otto, Greenwood, IN; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 108 W. Doty Ave., Neenah, with The Rev. R. Grace Imathiu officiating. Assisting in the service will be Rev. Tony Fuller and Pastor Jeff MGregor. The visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Neenah’s Westgor Funeral Home and again at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. A memorial is being established for First United Methodist Church and Spirit Song Methodist Church in Rollie’s name. Interment will be in Brooks Cemetery in the Town of Vinland.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ray Georgen and his staff, Dr. Mike Maguire and his staff, and the ICU nurses at Theda Clark for all their wonderful care.
