GARY NOBBE

Gary L. Nobbe, age 62 of Neenah, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born June 12, 1956 to George and Bernice (Lemke) Nobbe and was married to Heather Spoehr on December 20, 1985.

Gary was a man with a big, generous heart and a dry, unique sense of humor. He will be remembered as a workaholic – always busy with projects, even after a hard day. He was an employee of Kimberly-Clark for over 40 years working as a millwright/maintenance planner before his health forced him to retire. In his rare downtime, Gary enjoyed fishing or watching multiple sporting events at a time, with NASCAR on one television, and switching between the Packers and the Brewers on another.

Gary will be sadly missed by his wife, Heather; his son, Nate (Tiffany) Nobbe; his granddaughters, Jillian and Brooklyn; and by his mother, Bernice. He is also survived by his brothers: George (Tricia) Nobbe; Scott Nobbe; sister, Judy (Gary) Anacker; half-sister, Laurel Nobbe; and in-laws: Cindy (Bob) Depies; Doree (Gary) Rung; Tina Spoehr; Sandy (Tom) McKee; Umeko Fisher; as well as by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George, his mother-in-law, Marilyn Spoehr; and his half-sister, Carol Mason.

A memorial gathering for Gary will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home.
