April 10, 1960 - June 11, 2018
Obituary
Lisa M. Robillard, age 58, passed away in her husband's arms after a brief illness on Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born on April 10, 1960 in Orlando, FL to the late William and Margaret Bradley and resided in Suring, WI. Lisa married Steve Robillard on September 26, 1992 and enjoyed many great memories together relocating from Melbourne, FL to Ft. Wayne, IN, to Sun Prairie, WI to St. Michael, MN to Washington, DC before finally retiring in 2017 to their cabin (River's Edge) overlooking the Oconto River. Education was very important to her, and she was proud to have degrees in Psychology and Software Engineering. She was particularly proud of the work that she did as a software engineer, working on many amazing programs that significantly benefited our national defense. Having grown up in Florida, Lisa was originally a fan of the Miami Dolphins, but after marrying Steve, she came to heartfully embrace the Green Bay Packers, attending as many home games as possible. She was always the most vocal Mom in the stands as she cheered on her sons in their sporting events and was a dog lover to her core! Lisa loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and watching any of the Star Trek instantiations. She will be truly missed.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Steve Robillard of Suring; children: Patrick (Holly) Hickman of Fort Wayne, IN and James (Alicia) Robillard of West Bend, WI; grandchildren: Leah Hickman; Ashlin, Kollin, Corlan, and Tatum Robillard; sister, Susan Bradley of Sarasota, FL; brother, William Bradley of Tampa, FL; and best friend, Denise Shirey of North Florida. She is further survived by her first husband Dave Hickman and his parents Howard and Marie Hickman, all of Melbourne Beach, FL. The Hickman family cared for Lisa deeply and always considered her an essential part of the family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Bradley and sister-in-law, Karen Bradley.
The Memorial Service for Lisa will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 210 Krueger Street, Suring beginning with a visitation from 8:30 to 10:00am to be followed by Mass at 10:00am. There will be a reception to follow. Steve wishes to thank the staff of the 8th floor at Appleton Medical Center for their amazing compassion in caring for Lisa in her last days as well as the staff of ThedaCare Hospice. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
