LARRY JOHNSON

Larry Lee Johnson, age 78, of Neenah passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at ThedaCare Medical Center, Neenah with his loving family by his side.  He was born on November 2, 1939 in Estherville, Iowa son of the late Martin E. and Ivy M. (Platter) Johnson.  After high school, Larry proudly served his country with the United States Navy in Vietnam.  He married Ann M. Bauman on December 20, 1967 in Menasha.  Their marriage was blessed with two daughters and almost 50 wonderful years.  Larry worked for Gilbert Paper in the Power House for many years.  He was very committed to AA for 46 years.  Larry was an avid Packers fan, a Ford man, and enjoyed golfing, motorcycling, trips up north and to the casino.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Ann; his daughters: Sherrie Ann (Dale) Eckstein, Oshkosh; Kelly Lee (Martin) Kettner, Pickett; grandchildren: Heather (Richard) Mitchell, Dustin Ivy Boileau, Joshua Boileau, Taylor (sp. friend Burgundy) Woulf, Spencer Woulf, Bradi Marie Woulf, Dakota Kettner, Dalton Kettner; 8 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

A Memorial Service for Larry will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Sister Pam Biehl officiating.  Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.  Full Military Honors will immediately follow performed by members of the U.S. Navy and the Oshkosh Honor Guard.  Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Menasha.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Larry's name.
