BRIANNA GUSSERT

Brianna L. Gussert, of Appleton, age 13, passed away at her home on Monday, May 29, 2017.  She was born November 11, 2003, daughter of Greg Gussert and Nicole Schroepfer Gussert.

Brianna was a beautiful, bright, and charismatic young lady. Her hobbies included watching football (only Packers & Badgers and she knew the difference), spending time with family, taking pictures with grandma, and watching her favorite team the Brewers. Brianna had a smile that could brighten the darkest room. The family would like to thank all of the teachers and staff from her schools Highlands, Huntley, Janet Berry, and James Madison. Thanks to all EMT's and First Responders and Police that ever came when we needed help.

Survivors include her father, Greg Gussert and his fiancé, Sara Bartels; her mother, Nicole Gussert; 3 three sisters: Karleigh, Jasmine, Lauren; paternal grandmother, Susan (Ralph) Taylor; maternal grandparents, Dean and Lori Schroepfer; great-grandmother, Sandra Cottrell; maternal great-grandmother Vilma Keller; aunt, Abigail Taylor; great-aunt, Cindy (David) Springhetti; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Brianna was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Bill Mattern; and her dog, Blaze. Maternal great-grandmother Phyllis Schroepfer 

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home, with Fr. Don Zuleger officiating. The family requests that you wear Packers or Brewers attire in honor of Brianna.  The visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.
