I feel very honored to have gotten to know Al while at St. Paul Home. He always seemed to have that big smile and enjoyed engaging in a good conversation. He so looked forward to Marvel coming in to visit and you could feel how much love he had for her when she arrived. His family meant the world to him. I only wish I could have known him before his stay because I feel he would have been a great freind and asset in anyones life. My sympathy goes to the family but feel secure in the knowing that he is now with the angels and looks forward to your meeting once again.

Al was a special person in my life. I got to know Al through my basketball playing at Neenah High. He was a big booster and wanted to help me out. Through Al I was able to obtain summer employment during college at Banta's in Menasha for which I am still grateful to this day. He always asked me to stop by the house when I was in town. I am very sorry to hear of his passing but know he is with his Lord in heaven now. I will always remember Al asking my friend Dave Nobbe and I to join their family to dinner at Stan Musials in St. Louis when Dave and I ran into him at the 1973 NCAA BB championships.

I have been in touch with Al's son Mark, knew he was ill and his time was coming. I was a neighbor of theirs growing up and always liked and respected the Williamson family. Al had a way of making me feel like I was more than a kid, but a friend. I will always remember that. My condolences to all.
