Obituary
Ruth Lilian Tommie Jensen, age 76 of Neenah, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 in Harlingen, TX. She was born June 3, 1934 to the late Arthur and Bonita (Pederson) Bishop in Appleton. On February 21, 1959, she married Neal Jensen and established a family in Neenah. Ruth was a very social person, always loving visiting with her friends. She also enjoyed reading and playing cards, and loved being outside; she and Neal have spent their last 14 years wintering in Southern Texas. Ruth was also a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Neal; her children: Mark Jensen; Diane Dede (Roy Everette ) Nation; and Paul Jensen; grandchildren: Robin (fianc Greg) Jensen; Sean (special friend Katherine) Nation; Tyler Nation; Joshua (fiance Stephanie) Jensen; Justin (fiance Lindsey) Jensen; great-grandchildren: Madison Myer and Madison Jensen. She is further survived by her siblings: Arthur (Josette) Bishop; Marian Bishop Finley; Alvin (Barb) Bishop; Harold (Coralee) Bishop; Kenny Bishop; Glenn (Betty) Bishop; Judy Bishop; Diane (Gary) Bishop Rosplach; Orlyn Bishop; Reid (Joann) Bishop; her aunt, Shirley Aschenbrener; and Neals family members: Nona (Art) Selbach; Lee Jensen; Carol (Gale) Balthazor; Karen Jensen; Lynn (Jane) Jensen; Dean (Connie) Jensen; and Joyce (Dick) Bodway; as well as many nieces, nephews and special friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria; brother, Peter; and in-laws: Wally Finley; Wilbert (Margaret) Jensen; Jane Jensen; Dale Jensen; and Lois Jensen. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ruths name. A memorial service for Ruth will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak St., Neenah, Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
