When I grew up in Neenah at 600 Oak St., the Ulrich family lived 3 doors to the south. Grandma and Grandpa Ulrich were still alive. Alice and Bernice lived with them at home. Alice was challenged but always happy to visit as she walked by. Even when Bernice moved to a new home in the 700 block of Oak St. she took Alice and cared for her. While Bernice's 3 brothers moved out to establish their own families, brother Bob remained a close friend to my father, Carl Breaker, for his lifetime. They had been classmates at NHS. I cut lawn and did odd jobs for Bernice as a kid growing up on Oak St. during the 1950's and 1960's. I'm so sorry to have lost track of Bernice after she retired. Another great lady has passed. God's richest blessings to all Ulrich relatives.
