CONSTANCE PINGEL

CONSTANCE PINGEL

February 13, 1957 - August 29, 2024

Obituary

Constance Ann “Conno” Pingel, age 67 of Menasha, was escorted to Heaven by Jesus on the morning of Thursday, August 29, 2024, to be with all who have been lovingly waiting for her. Her last month on this Earth was difficult, with a two week stay in the hospital, suffering with various problems that couldn't be worked out.

Conno was born to the late John and Helen (Cumings) Pingel on February 13, 1957, and was a 1975 graduate of Neenah High School. She worked for many years as a cardiac nurse at Theda Clark before becoming a medical underwriter for United Health. After retirement, she spread joy with free hugs while working at Neenah's Goodwill. Conno had a joyous personality that could brighten anyone's day. She enjoyed camping, attending music festivals, and traveling the world with her girlfriends, always making sure to have a souvenir for everyone in her family. Conno also had a love for cats and birds.

Conno is survived by her loving cat, Emma Easton; brother, Chuck Pingel; nieces and nephews: Jason LeRoy; Sarah (Tim Beaman) Breitreiter; Jennifer (Jesse) Miller; Ben (Jillian Otis) LeRoy; and Josh LeRoy; as well as by many grandnieces and grandnephews: Lauren LeRoy; Braelyn Beaman; Payton and Max Miller; Dontae, Parker, Elsie, Jayvyn, Anna Otis, and Michael LeRoy. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Kathy Breitreiter; Barb LeRoy; and Mike LeRoy; and by her beloved cockatiel Sugar.

A memorial service for Conno will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 13. 2024 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to an animal shelter in Conno's honor.
