Obituary
Dave Erdmann passed away unexpectedly, outside at home enjoying the wonderful spring weather, on April 24, 2024. He was born on July 2, 1935, in Neenah to the late Joseph and Laura (Schwandner) Erdmann. Dave graduated from Neenah High School in 1953 and was a proud member of the Rockets baseball team. Dave married Bev (Radloff) on Sept 1, 1956 and enjoyed 67 years of marriage.
Dave, known as “Mittens” to his co-workers, worked 47 years as a ready-mix truck driver with Twin City Concrete which later became 4X Corporation. Dave built the house they still live in today. He enjoyed coaching and watching his children and grandchildren in all of their various sports. He loved spending time in northern Wisconsin at family cottages. Dave's other hobbies included golfing, bowling, fishing, watching his favorite Wisconsin sports teams, playing free cell and solitaire, and playing dice and card games. He was an active member of Martin Luther Church where he was a “jack of all trades” and served on multiple committees.
He is survived by his loving wife Bev and their 4 children, Mike Erdmann (Diana Maas), Germantown, WI, Sherry Erdmann (Scott Moesch), Fremont, WI, Lori (Bob) Schulze, Oshkosh, WI, and Stacy (John) Kranner, Neenah, WI. He was grandpa to Allie Erdmann (Ian Johnson), Madison, WI, Kenzie Erdmann (John Strader), Cincinnati, OH, Brent (Lexi) Schulze, Marshfield, WI, and Steven Schulze, Neenah, WI and Papa to Maddie Zuelsdorf and Avery Kranner. Dave also had 2 great-grandchildren, Ciera and Colson Schulze. He is further survived by his brother-in-law, David (Marlene) Radloff, very good friends Jerry and Audrey Greve and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Laura Erdmann, in-laws Ervin and Betsy Radloff, and his sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Arlin Kester.
The funeral will be held on Monday, April 29, with visitation at 11 am and service to follow at 1pm, at Martin Luther Church, 436 S Lake St, Neenah, WI.
