Obituary

David W. Kottke, age 75, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, January 13, 2025, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. He was born August 26, 1949, in Neenah, son of the late Benjamin and Isabelle (Hartfiel) Kottke.

David served in the US Army during Vietnam. He married Joyce Daczyk on May 31, 1991. David retired from Central Products/Intertape Polymer after 42 years of employment. 

David enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, watching sports, and cheering for the Cubs. Every year for 15 years he planned a fishing trip to Lake Winnibigoshish in Minnesota. 

Survivors include his wife, Joyce; five children: Issie Radke, Ann Walt, Mary (Travis) Hildebrandt, Jessie (Robin) Corry, Amber Pfefferl; 13 grandchildren: Martin Radke, Grace Radke, Addison Walt, Elise Walt, Wesley Walt, Joey Hildebrandt, Rosie Hildebrandt, Ayden Hildebrandt, Nathan Corry, Stella Corry, Jeffrey Pfefferl and Jackson Pfefferl; two sisters: Lori Davis, Sandy Pitt; a brother, Jimmy Kottke; and his faithful dog, Oliver.

David was preceded in death by two brothers: Ben and John.

A private family funeral will be held with entombment at Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum in Neenah.

Joyce, I was saddened to hear of Dave's passing, I worked with him All 42 years he was at Central Paper/IPG we always had fun at work. My parents always said Joyce and Dave were such nice neighbors. May God keep watch over you and the family. Greg Omachinski
