Obituary
Donna Jean Day of Neenah, WI made her peaceful journey home on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025. She was born Oct. 20, 1954 to the late Steiner and Leota (Sickler) Nyback.
Donna married Kerry Day on May 8, 1981 and was a lifelong resident of Neenah/Menasha. She loved spending time with family, playing cards and taking an occasional trip to the casino. She also liked to consider herself the number one Brewer fan, next to Bob Uecker! Donna was outgoing and loved people. Kerry would often say she could walk into a room of 100 strangers and leave with at least 80 new friends.
Donna is survived by her husband, Kerry; daughter, Michelle Day (Scott Shaw); grandson, Conor; brother, Dennis Nyback; brothers-in-law: Dave Koslowski, Garth Zimmerman, Martin (Nancy) Day, Robert (Leslie) Day, Timothy (Jan) Day; sisters-in-law, Deidre (Ken) Burton, Alice (Ron) Day; and four generations of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Along with her parents, Steiner and Leota, Donna was preceded in death by her 3 sons: Patrick, Michael and Kevin; siblings: Shirley (Nyback) Coon, Richard Nyback, David Nyback, Carol (Nyback) Koslowski; brother-in-law, Ronald Day; and sister-in-law, Susan Clark.
A private celebration of life will be held in her honor.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's hospital in her name.
