I remember growing up down the street from Greg and Dorothy, and they were a lovely couple.  They’d sit out on the front porch with their dog, and sometimes we’d chat with them as we walked home from the park, and he’d let my sister and I pick food from his garden if we stopped by.  Even as I grew up, if I biked down the street, and later drove down the street, he’d always wave to me.  He’ll be a greatly missed face on Baldwin Street.

Greg had not only the greenest thumb in the valley, but the biggest heart, sharing the fruits and vegetables of his labor with so many. What a special and generous man. I was fortunate to know him and be one of the many recipients of his home grown goodies, as well as his delicious homemade wines! He was a man of many talents, extremely kind and sharing. He will be missed by so many. I send my condolences to his entire family. I know what it’s like to lose a loved one you’ve spent years with. It is never easy and it takes time. I pray you find strength to move forward, knowing Greg is now living in the bounty of God’s love and feeling as blessed in heaven as he felt on earth, planting and sharing the bountiful “love” he produced with the gracious help of God and Mother Nature. Hold on to the many memories Greg left you with to keep him close at all times. May God bless you with his love and strength. Much love to all, Penny
