HUBERT TOEPPLER

September 17, 1944 - July 18, 2024

Obituary

Hubert William “Tip” Toeppler was born to the late C.B. “Tip” and Athelene Toeppler on September 17, 1944. He passed into eternal life on July 18, 2024 of heart and kidney failure, with his family by his side.

Tip and his wife, Carol (Meyer) recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Of his jobs through life, he most enjoyed the 28 years rearranging God's Creation as a dump truck driver. Tip enjoyed playing cribbage, putting together puzzles, and playing Pegs and Jokers with the family. He had a love for Golden Retrievers including those seen while showing his '67 Plymouth GTX that he and Carol had restored.

Tip is survived by Carol; son, Mike and his son, Jonah; daughter, Cyndi (Paul) Pleshek and their children, Ty, Bristol, Addison, and Ryker.

A memorial service for Tip will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Wilke officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Tip's name.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you for the compassionate care given by hospice RN Stacey and her team.

Dear Toeppler family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr Toeppler was always nice to me, helped me fix my beater cars, and loved to rib me. I have fond memories of him and those times when we hung out in the basement playing pool. I hope you all find peace in God at this difficult time. Love and respect, Scott V

Gill Gladwell I have many happy memories of time spent with Tip during my visits from England. He was so kind and welcoming. And very patient too when Carol and I would be chatting for hours on end. And he cooked great steak and waffles! Very lucky to have known you, Tip. Rest in peace. From Gill Gladwell, London, England
