IRENE KUEPPER

Irene Mary Kuepper, age 97, passed away peacefully on Nov. 21, 2021. She was born on March 25, 1924, in Manawa, WI; daughter of the late Albert and Margret (Ernst) Wohlers. Irene married Mathew John Kuepper on May 18, 1946, in Oshkosh, WI. Irene and Mathew lived in the Neenah-Menasha area their entire lives where they raised three children. Irene and Mathew were married 64 years before he preceded her in death on July 23, 2009.

 Irene worked for Kimberly-Clark Corp, Stadmiller's Grocery, and Zaug's Vending Service. Irene loved to sew, travel, grow/care for her house plants, and spend time at the family cabin on the Pike River near Wausaukee, WI.

Irene is survived by her two children: Larry (Bernie) Kuepper, Fox Crossing; and Vicki Susor (friend Carl Bourassa), Wild Rose; Darcy Rast (daughter-in-law), Waupaca; four grandchildren: Jack Kuepper, Neenah, Pam (Shawn Lesser) Kuepper, Greenville, Heather (Jake) Newton, Weyauwega, and Adam Susor (friend Vanessa Yahr), Neenah; 13 great grandchildren: Jenna Kuepper (friend Chris Thompson), Neenah, Mathew Kuepper, Menasha, Thomas Kuepper, Menasha, Paige Erickson (friend Teddy Schumacher), Minneapolis, MN, Jade Erickson (friend Alex Krueger), Appleton, Hayden Lesser (friend Layla Manke), Oshkosh, Rachelle Rast (friend Rick Lerna), Weyauwega, Isaac Newton, Weyauwega, Nate Newton, Weyauwega, Shelby Hoewisch, Weyauwega, Trever Hoewisch, Weyauwega, Angela Greselin, Neenah, Eli Susor, Cedar Rapids, IA; and six great-great grandchildren: Westley Mallard, Benjamin, and Marceline Krueger, Appleton, Alise and Addalyn Lerma, Weyauwega, and Memphis Kuepper, Neenah. Irene is further survived by her two siblings: Allen (Marlene) Wohlers and Carolyn Schneidewend, both of Neenah.

Irene was further preceded in death by her son, David Lee Kuepper; sister and brother in-law, Lorraine (Arnold) Cook; brother and sister in-law, Hubert (Betty) Wohlers; and brother in-law Art Schneidewend.

Funeral service for Irene will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak Street, Neenah, with Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday afternoon, beginning at 1:00 until the 2:00 PM service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church in memory of Irene would be appreciated.
