Obituary

Janice L. Sedo, age 80 of Menasha, passed away early Monday, May 24, 2021. She was born May 27, 1940 in Larsen to the late Esther (Magandanz) and Henry Van Domelen. On August 15, 1959, she married Jerome Sedo at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. The two moved to Neenah shortly thereafter, where they became members of Trinity Lutheran Church. They then purchased a home in Menasha and there throughout their entire marriage.

Janice was a graduate of Winneconne High School where she played the French horn. She and Jerry enjoyed snowmobiling in their younger years, as well as attending Hodag and Country USA. After her children were grown, Jan worked for Neenah's Sammy's Pizza for many years before bartending for numerous bars in Neenah and Menasha.

Jan will be missed by her three sons: Randy (Deb) Sedo; Robbie Sedo; and Jamie (Brenda) Sedo; by her grandchildren: Josh (Jolissa) Sedo; Melissa (David) Augustine; Evan (Trish) Bosetti; Cara (Jared) Klinger; Brooke Sedo; Heather Sedo; and Justin Bradley; and by her great-grandchildren: Cohen Sedo; Adeline and Henry Augustine; Lennox Bosetti; Liv Klinger; and Mason and Nolan. She is further survived by her siblings: Eugenia (Ed) Kiesow; Eugene Magendanz; and Shirley Heuer; by many nieces and nephews; and by many, many friends, specifically Dave and Gail Wisnewski, and Robert Schmidt.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry in 2019; by her brother, Donnie Van Domelen; and by her sister, Judith (Harvey) Konow.

A Funeral Service for Jan will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak St., Neenah, Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, and again at church on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Jan will be laid to rest alongside Jerry at Resthaven Cemetery.
