Obituary
Joan L. Spielbauer, age 89 of Darboy, left this world for her eternal reward in Heaven on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Joan was born July 2, 1935 to Robert and Helen Purdy and married Eugene Spielbauer on August 4, 1951. Together they were longtime members of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha where she was a supporter of those in grief through their care ministry. After a move to the Darboy area, she and Gene joined the congregation at St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
She will be remembered lovingly by all in her family as the most caring person.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2331 E. Lourdes Dr., Appleton, with Fr. Joe Dorner officiating. A visitation will be held at church from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Joan will join Gene at St. Mary Cemetery in Menasha.
