JOHN BULLOCK

John Samuel Bullock Jr, 72, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed on August 30th, 2025.

He was born in Oshkosh in 1952 to John Bullock Sr and Joanne Bullock (Dahse). John was educated at Oshkosh High School. He worked with his step-dad, Bill, at his tree trimming business. He later went on to work at Pluswood, eventually making a switch to corrections where he retired as a correctional officer from Oshkosh Correctional. He served time in the military in the Army.

John loved nature and the outdoors, spending time planting trees and working around the property. He also was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast. He and his friends went on rides and to motorcycle rallies every year. In his earlier years, he had a passion for weight-lifting and boxing. He was a loving and generous man and was someone you could always count on when you needed him. He had an enormous love for his family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his father John Bullock Sr, his mother Joanne Dahse, and his step-father Bill Dahse. He is survived by his wife Linda Bullock, his children Zachary Bullock and Rachael Starks (Adam), his grandchildren Taylor, Carmen and Hunter Starks, and his sisters Sue Bessert (John) and Jean Holland.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th from 10:00-11:00am, with a service following at 11:00am at Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W Doty Ave, Neenah, WI, 54956.
