LENARD DESSART

LENARD DESSART

July 23, 1952 - February 07, 2023

Obituary

Lenard F. Dessart, age 70 of Menasha, passed away early Tuesday, February 7, 2023. He was born in Hammond, Indiana to Leonard J. and Ruth Dessart on July 23, 1952. The family moved to northern Wisconsin, and Len graduated from Menominee High School, class of 1970, and became a member of the Army Reserves.

As a Menasha resident, Len worked for many years as a Senior Production Manager at Hoffmaster, and was a longtime member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church. He will be remembered as a very generous man with a big heart who would bend over backwards for anyone. He loved his family and his dogs, but he absolutely adored his grandchildren.

Len leaves behind his son, Shane (Nicole) Dessart; his grandchildren: Maggie and Cash; as well as his siblings and their families: Larry Dessart, Randy Dessart, Tracy Everson, and Kathy Lindquist. He is further survived by his friend and ex-wife, Susan M. Woldt; and by his furry companions, Lucky and Eggo.

A memorial service for Len will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

Len and I go back a long way. We worked together from his first day at Hoffmaster to his last. Our friendship continued after he left Hoffmaster.. He was a wonderful, caring friend and I will miss him. The group that worked together at Artfaire/Hoffmaster was a very close one and we all feel the loss when one of us passes away. God bless and take care of you my friend.
