LEO FULMER

May 13, 2020 - August 24, 2023

Obituary

Leo Simone Fulmer, son of Eric and Evonna, big brother to Kaiden, went to be with God on the evening of Thursday, August 24, 2023. Forever 3.

Leo was born May 13, 2020 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. A red-headed ray of sunshine, he kept everyone on their toes from that day to this. We often heard, “Look at that hair!” His red hair, his blue eyes, twinkling with mischief, and his contagious smile were certainly his trademarks.

Leo would touch his chin and say, “Hmmm… I got idea.” He made us smile and burst out laughing every day. He was such a happy, adventurous little boy. Leo was not really a morning person who would get up like being shot out of a gun; he was more of a let-me-ease-my-way-into-this-day kind of guy. He would walk around sleepily in his cozy footy pajamas with Stuffy hugged snuggly in his right arm and the index and middle fingers of his left hand in his mouth. He would ask for “a bar and milk” which he wouldn't necessarily eat right away. He was likely to cuddle up on the couch with one of the adults who loved him so dearly. Leo was a fabulous cuddler and always greeted and said good bye to all his beloved people with “Big hug and a kiss. Big hug and a kiss.”

When he came fully awake, it was game on man! Go, go, go! Talk, talk, talk! His days consisted of cars and trucks and trains and tractors and excavators, really anything with wheels, “dance party time,” soccer, and so much more. He loved going to parks, so much so that on a recent trip with Mommy and Grammy, he pointed out every park they passed with an expectation in his voice that let them know they should be stopping at every single one. And on a recent wagon ride, when his grandparents turned to the left out of the driveway, he told them they were going the wrong way. (To get to the park, they would have had to have turned to the right.)

A little over a year ago, Leo's little brother Kaiden was born. Leo was fascinated. He wasn't always a fan of the attention not being solely on himself, but he sure loved his little brother all the same. Within the past few months, Kaiden had become more of a playmate. It was sweet to watch their relationship grow, Leo as doctor, Kaiden as patient having his temperature taken, among many other things. The family will be sharing lots of stories and photos as Kaiden grows so that his Leo will remain big brother in Kaiden's heart.

Leo is survived by his parents: Eric Simone Fulmer Jr. and Evonna Lynne Krause; along with brother, Kaiden Cole, all of Neenah, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his grandmother, “Oma” Christine Winscher (Brian Lewandoske); great-grandfather, Noel Winscher; grandfather, Timothy Bosier; aunt, Lindsey Bosier; cousins: Celeste, Celisha, and Jemma, all of Sheboygan, WI; grandparents: Harley and Janet Krause; uncle, Brian Krause of Appleton, WI; and godmother, KC Johns of Plymouth, WI; along with many dear relatives and friends who are holding up his family with much needed support and prayers.

Leo was greeted in heaven by his grandfather, Eric Fulmer, Sr.; great-grandmother, Mary Ellen Winscher; great-grandparents, LeMoine and Arlene Krause; and great-grandparents, Ken and Yvonne Harlow.

A funeral service for Leo will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Lunch will then be served at Shildt Park, 1780 Cold SprinG Road, Neenah, one of Leo's favorite places.
