LOUISE OLSEN

Louise Patricia "Pat" Olsen went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 3, 2024. She was born January 20,1934. She was the daughter of Pasquale Reda and Pearl Johnson Reda, born in Madison, WI. She graduated from Central High School, Madison.  She grew up in "The Bush" which is where the Italian migrants lived. She was raised by her Italian grandparents. She was the mother of five children - Charles Thompson, Pamela (Tim) Rothwell, Douglas (Kim) Davis, Pasquale (Krista) Davis, Suzanne (Doug) Schulz, she is the grandmother of 16, and the great-grandmother of 9. Her legacy continues to grow.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Reda, sister Vicky Reda Toler, and daughter-in-law Gina Thompson. she is survived by her sister Joyce (Arthur) Bock and brother Pasquale (Angela) Reda.

She was a very loving mother and lived for her family. Staying very close to her sister, brother and many nieces and nephews. Mom's home was an open door to talk, have a cup of coffee with a biscotti, or a plate of her infamous pancakes. She made the best homemade spaghetti sauce (her grandma's recipe). She was very proud of her Italian heritage, music, and dancing.

She was an active member at church. Volunteering to help with children's Sunday school for many years. She was also part of the Legacy group with activities and luncheons.

She made an impact on everyone she knew. She was loved by many and will truly be missed by all.

Her celebration of life will be held at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home on Sunday September 8, 2024 at 12:00 PM. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM until the time of service.
