MARCELLA STAFFELD

Marcella V. Staffeld, age 95 of Neenah, passed away peacefully late Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born June 30, 1927 to the late Joseph and Frances Schutkoske in Menasha, and married John Staffeld. They resided in Menasha until moving to Neenah when their children were young.

Marcella worked as a lab technician in the paper industry until her retirement, at which point she enjoyed her membership with the embroiderer's guild.

Marcella is survived by her children: Margaret “Peg” (Arthur “Lee”) Rasmussen, and John (Reta) Staffeld, Jr., as well as by her grandchildren: Erin (Nick) Eyl and Lauren Staffeld; and by her great-grandchild, McCoy Eyl. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Marian Ernst and many nieces and nephews. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1994, by her seven older siblings: John, Henry, Gertrude, Josephine, Joseph, Lucille, Agnes: and by her step-grandson, Shane L. Rasmussen.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery, where Marcella will join John in eternal rest.
