Obituary
Mary E. (MaryBeth) Gilmore, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 10, 2025, at Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah, WI.
She was born on July 20, 1939, in Neenah, WI. The daughter of Paul H. and Dorothy A. (Sarber) St. Peter. She married Robert B. Gilmore on May 5, 1962, celebrating over 62 years of marriage.
Mary graduated from St. Mary High School, Class of 1957 and St. Agnes School of Nursing in 1960. She then worked as a head nurse at Theda Clark, a nursing instructor at FVTC and then in clinical research at Kimberly-Clark. She was also a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church where she was active in the sewing and quilting groups.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; two sons Jeffrey (Barbara) and Andrew (Lisa); three grandchildren, Jennifer (Richard), Christopher (Jessica) and Eli; two great-grandchildren, Theodore and Charlie, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dorothy St. Peter, brother James and granddaughter Frehley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Interment will follow in St. Margaret's Cemetery.
Mary's favorite color was red (like a cardinal) and she has requested that any flowers NOT include pink.
