Obituary

Sierra F. Hecker, age 26 of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly early Friday, May 17, 2024. She was born March 2, 1998 to Jason Hecker and Amy Geiger in Neenah.

Sierra was a kind and generous soul who cared so much for others. A natural caregiver, she would do anything for anybody. She was smart, funny, kind-hearted, and non-judgmental. She was proud to be a mother and considered her girls her greatest achievement. One of her greatest joys was singing "You Are My Sunshine” to her daughters, just as her mom sang to her.

Sierra is loved to the moon and the stars by her daughters, Zahara and Xzavi Ana Hecker; her parents; Amy Geiger and Jason (Janine Diana) Hecker; and siblings: Brianna (special friend Dominic Busnelli) and Carson Salaman. She is further survived by her grandparents: Joy “B” Hecker; Edward and Paula Geiger; aunts: Jill Hecker Fernandes and Tara Heinzkill; uncle, Paul Heinzkill; and her step-father, Scott Salaman; her two best friends, Haleigh Brockman and Alyssa Wintrow; as well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert J. Hecker; Sandra Iversen; great-grandmothers: June Graykowski and Jenette Iversen; and uncle, Mike Gorrell.

A memorial service for Sierra will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established to benefit Sierra's daughters.

It is still hard to believe you are no longer physically with us Sierra. Your laughter and smile will be embedded in our hearts forever. Amy- From mom to mom,I cannot imagine what you are going through and I can only see and experience the pain of what I have witnessed through you. You were a great mom to Sierra and remember she will always be your sunshine. Love you!! Jason- As a father I am sure this is not something you could have fathomed. My heart goes out to you. Brianna-My dear sweet Godchild, you have been of great help with the girls and Sierra was forever grateful for that. Tell them all those crazy stories and bring out the laughter. Love you to the moon! Carson- I know you have been unsure how to feel or even what to do. Do what you need to do to take care of you. You will always be the little brother. Love ya kiddo! To all of you, my heart aches 💔 for you and with and know that even though I am unable to be there to help say farewell, see ya later, I am with in heart!
