My Dear Bill, You were the brother I never had. We grew up together through childhood and into High School. You joined the Marines, and I, off to the Coast Guard. We never lost touch and I still think of you as a real brother after all these 80+ years. Today, I'm heading out, alone, into the desert for 3 days and 2 nights. I'm taking you with me as we still have so much to discuss regarding friendship, love and shared memories. What a last grand adventure we'll have. I'm packing the beer, bourbon and brats so you simply bring those memories of yours. I shall miss you with the greatest of sorrows. Semper Fi my brother, Semper Fi, Bob Beger
