Beatrice Zirbel

Beatrice M. (Pavlak Manteufel) Zirbel, age 83 of Winchester, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. She was born October 26, 1942 to the late Stanley and Elvira Pavlak, and on October 7, 1961, she married Raymond Manteufel. After Ray’s passing on December 5, 2001, Beatrice met Lloyd Zirbel. The two were married on July 12, 2008.

A woman of many hobbies, Beatrice enjoyed reading, crocheting, sitting out by the firepit, and watching the birds. She loved to travel and take bus trips, and volunteering at her church, Immanuel Lutheran, as well as St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Beatrice is survived by her husband, Lloyd; four children: Douglas (Diane) Manteufel; Ralph (Laurie) Manteufel; LeAnn (Steve) Proctor; Gary (Dorry) Manteufel; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers: Charles (Linda) Pavlak; Ronald (Jeanne) Pavlak; and Robert (Lana) Pavlak; two sisters: Barbara Griesbach; and Shirley Van Horn; as well as by two step-children: Rodrick (Rhonda) Zirbel, Robert (Rhonda) Zirbel; and by three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Gordon and Vernon Pavlak, and by her brother-in-law, Michael Griesbach.

A funeral service for Beatrice will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3703 Fairview Rd., Neenah/Winchester, with Rev. Jeremy Koehler officiating. A visitation will be held at church from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Beatrice will be laid to rest at Clayton Cemetery.
