JUDITH STOLZMAN

Judith A. Stolzman died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the age of 76 from multiple causes. She was born June 27, 1940 to Wilson and Myrna (Johnson) Barr. She graduated from Neenah High School in 1958 and then from the Appleton Vocational School in 1959. She then worked at Kimberly-Clark as a secretary at Kimlark.

On February 27, 1960, she married Thomas E. Stolzman and they shared 56 wonderful years together raising four children: Steve, Wendy, Keith, and Kevin.

After the kids got older, she worked for Jersild Knitting Company for years and then for J.J. Keller & Associates, Inc. for 25 ½ years retiring in January, 2015 due to poor health. She loved her job at Keller's and felt bad that she had to leave it.

She loved being outdoors at the cabin in Waupaca County, especially during deer hunting while still healthy. She had her 12-point buck shoulder mounted and it is on display at the cabin. She also liked riding the ATVs through the woods in the nice weather. Many fun times were had there, especially when the kids and grandkids came to visit. Many New Year's Eve parties for the family were held at the cabin and we had cook-outs, fireworks, bonfires, and played cards, etc. She also enjoyed times swimming, visiting, and playing cribbage at her cousins' home on Little Silver Lake in Wild Rose, WI. Many fun times were also spent at her sister's home on the Crystal River in Waupaca, especially when her other sister from Indiana came. She also enjoyed going to a cottage on Silver Lake in Laona for many years and attending the soup bowl every year in August. A lot of fun was had going fishing and watching the “guys” catch muskies.

Judy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Menasha since 1960, taught Sunday school for a number of years, and later became a member of the Altar Guild and then became Treasurer.

She was also a committee member of the Waupaca Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited. Both she and Tom ran the casino table for the spring and fall banquets. She also loved spending time with her “Whitetail family.”

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Tom; and their four children: Steven (Vicki) Stolzman, Lake in the Hills, IL; Wendy (Jerry) Hoffman, Neenah; twins, Keith (Lisa) Stolzman, Neenah, and Kevin (Jeannie) Stolzman, Appleton; eight grandchildren: Jordan and Kristiana Stolzman, Lake in the Hills, IL; Taylor and Hannah Hoffman, Neenah; Kyle and Dylan Stolzman, Menasha; Brady Stolzman, Appleton; step-grandchild, Andy (Robin) Kampo, Wisconsin Rapids; and two step-great-grandchildren: Zaden and Levi Kampo.

She is further survived by one sister, Jill (Jim) Fleenor, Noblesville, IN; two sisters-in-law, Janet Barr and JoAnn Mazemke, both of Neenah; brother-in-law, Donald Bollerman, Waupaca; and also a very special cousin, Madella Sommer, Wild Rose, WI; as well as other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Edward and Lucille Stolzman; a sister, Joline Bollerman; a brother, Jerry Barr; aunts and uncles.

A memorial service for Judy will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 Broad St., Menasha with Rev. Steven Billings officiating. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Inurnment will be at the Concordia Cemetery in West Bloomfield, WI.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Tom, and their children and their families.
