DARLENE MORTON

Darlene Morton, of Neenah, age 77, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, August 31, 2013, while vacationing in the Outer Banks, NC. She was born February 29, 1936, in Platteville, WI, daughter of the late Stephen and Lulubelle Wilkinson. Darlene graduated from Platteville High School. She married Peter Morton on October 31, 1959, in Madison. Soon after, they moved to Neenah to join the family business. Survivors include her husband, Peter; four children: Stephen (Andrea) Morton, David (Sherry) Morton, Kathryn (Jeff) Blank, Jennifer (Scott) Stielow; 10 grandchildren: Kaitlin (Peter) Springborn, Charles Morton, Allison Morton, Kelsey Morton, Peter Morton, Ellie Blank, Jack Blank, Hailey Stielow, Meghan Stielow, Paige Stielow; a great-granddaughter, Harper Springborn; and a brother, Keith (Beverly) Wilkinson. Darlene was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 226 Washington St., Menasha, with The Rev. Ralph Osborne and The Rev. William Johnston officiating. The visitation will be held from 6:30 " 8:30 PM on Tuesday, at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home, and again at the church on Wednesday from Noon until the hour of service. A memorial is being established for St. Thomas Episcopal Church in her name.
