SHIRLEY WILLES

Shirley M. Willes, age 79, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She was born on March 26, 1935 in Antigo, WI; daughter of the late Ervin and Grace (Sorenson) Mucha. On September 26, 1953 she was united in marriage to Frank Willes; Frank preceded her in death on November 21, 1987. Shirley worked in Central Supply at Theda Clark Hospital until her retirement. She was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, working in her garden and sitting on her back porch with a good book. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Shirley is survived by her children: John Willes, Milwaukee, Connie Willes, Neenah and Bonnie (David) Resch, Neenah; daughter-in-law, Constance Willes, Menasha; grandchildren: Joe and Bryan Resch and Frank and Emmie Willes; brothers: Robert (Myrna) Mucha, Neenah and Dick (Judy) Mucha, Montana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank and by her son, Steve Willes. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place in St. Margaret's Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established. Shirley's family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staffs of Theda Clark 5 South and Cherry Meadows for their compassionate care. Also, the wonderful staff of Theda Clark's food service for being more than willing to bring things to our mom and family.
