Obituary

Lynn M. Heldt, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center in Iron Mountain, MI. She was born April 5, 1958, in Neenah, WI, daughter of the late Donald and Judith (Mellberg) Heldt.

Lynn graduated from Menasha High School in 1976. She was employed with American Can in Neenah for over 30 years before retiring in 2007, due to medical reasons.

Survivors include her children: Jessica Yaeger (Eric Nason), Shawn Spielbauer (Raechel Franzke), Nicholas Holloway; five grandchildren: Erica, Alexandria, Isabella, Onika, Judith; two sisters: Cynthia (David) Tuchscherer, Janette Olson; a brother, Donald (Carrie) Heldt; and further survived by brothers and sisters: Suzanne (Carl) Mohl, John Lappen, Joan (Brian) Diem, Connie (Mark) Becker, Caroline (James) Klug.

Lynn was preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Marie Spielbauer; her biological father, Paul Lappen; and a brother, Jesse Lappen.

The memorial will be held at 3:00PM at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until the service. Celebration of life to follow at Old 41 Saloon in Neenah. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

Sorry goes out to the family. We lost a very happy lady. Always had a smile on her face. She loved her mustangs and wasn't scared of snakes which she always reminded me. Most of all she would always talk about her garden. She loved her garden a lot. We sure will miss that cute smile!
