Obituary

Ellie Lasfalk, 91, passed away peacefully November 18, 2024. She had her family and cat, Shadow, at her side.

Born on January 11, 1933 in Foxboro, WI, she married Walter Lasfalk on January 3, 1959. Together they had three children: Barb (Gerald) Jacobs; Dave; and Mike (Rebecca).

Ellie enjoyed walking, riding her bike, going out for happy hour, and going to the casino. She was a lifelong Elvis fan.

Survivors include her children, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, three sisters, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by Wally on December 31, 1996, as well as by her parents, an infant sister, five brothers, and three brothers-in-law.

Ellie's family would like to thank ThedaCare Hospice for their love and care. They would also like to thank Betty, Bob, Cindy, Jackie, Laura and Corey for the assistance taking care of mom, and Sam and Sue for their long friendships with her. They would also like to thank mom's niece, Linda, for all she has done for mom, as well as for her support during this time.

Per Ellie's wishes, no funeral services will be held.

Ellie was my grandmother and also a close friend, she was a strong, amazing woman. My sympathies to everyone that got the chance to know her and love her. She will be greatly missed.

Ellie was a long time family friend. She always had a smile and a can-do attitude. She was especially close to my Mom. Ellie, with Wally’s help, helped Mom remain in her own home after she became handicapped. We have many fond memories and funny stories to tell about our friendship with Ellie. She will truly be missed.
