KAREN KELLY
June 02, 1961 - February 06, 2025
Obituary
With hearts full of love, we celebrate the wonderful life of Karen A. Kelly, who embarked on her next great journey on 02/06/2025 after a 9-year battle with Parkinson's. Though she has stepped beyond the horizon, her love, laughter, and light remain woven into our lives, a beacon that will never dim.
Born on 06/02/1961 in Tucson, AZ, Karen lived a life rich in kindness, caring, and deep connection. She carried joy wherever she went, leaving behind cherished memories in hearts she touched. Whether through the love of her family and friends, or simply her warm embrace, infectious spirit, and incredible smile. Karen made the world a brighter place.
To know Karen was to know unwavering love and loyalty, someone who in times of need dedicated herself to resolving a crisis and meeting new friends with open arms. She was a strong soul and once you met her, you'd never forget her.
She shared her life with her beloved daughter Britney and son-in-law Mike Pagni, and her cherished grandchildren Arlo, Zola, and Enzo, each of whom carries a piece of her light forward. She is survived by her brother Rick Kelly; her nieces Megan & Kristen and their mother Linda; Judy Zimmer, her dear friend from college and Aunt to Britney; and her dear Auntie Peg. She also had a deep love for her little feline companions and held their warm and purring little hearts in her lap.
Having worked for 27 years at Evans Title in Appleton, WI, she found in her boss and her co-workers a deep and long-lasting friendship that transcended the workplace.
Rather than dwell in sorrow, we honor Karen by embracing the love she left behind, by chasing new dreams, and by meeting the road ahead with the same unwavering spirit she did.
A celebration of Karen's rich life will be held on Sunday February 23 at 10:45am at Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Ave. Neenah, WI 54956. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, we invite you to honor her spirit and the struggles we each have in our lives, and to never give up hope or kindness.
Karen's family would like to thank Moments Hospice, who played such a wonderful and critical role in Karen's final days. They were greatest help; the family couldn't have managed the care she needed in the end. They were greatest help.
She spent the last 19 years in the home and family of her best friend of 53 years.
Though she has journeyed beyond, we know this is not goodbye—only a moment between embraces. Until we meet again, dear Karen, may your laughter echo in the stars, and your love shine on in our hearts.
