AMY SONNENBERG

Amy M. Sonnenberg, age 39, of Menasha, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, April 18, 2014. She was born February 22, 1975 in Appleton, daughter of Allen and Nancy (Trunk) Sonnenberg. Our beloved Amy was called to God's arms on April 18th. She will be dearly missed by the family and friends that loved her. She is survived by her father and mother, Allen and Nancy (Trunk) Sonnenberg; her brothers, Terry (Leah) Sonnenberg and Tim (Amber) Sonnenberg; and nephews and nieces, Jack, Ellie, Mason and Bella. She is also survived by her grandmother, Lois Sonneberg and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dutch (Edmund) and Gail Trunk, and grandfather, Lyle Sonnenberg. She is resting peacefully with the grandparents she missed dearly. Amy was also preceded in death by her uncle, Glen Trunk. Amy loved her cats, Binx and Baby Jo; they were wonderful companions to her. She also liked researching and socializing on her computer. Amy was a 1993 graduate of Menasha High School and was employed for 8 years at Kimberly Clark after graduation. Amy was a loving and warm hearted person. She loved her family and friends. Although Amy was taken from us too soon, we know she is looking down on us from Heaven with a big smile. The funeral service for Amy will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in her name.
