Richard Eisner

Richard C. Eisner, of Menasha, age 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Frontida Assisted Living in Kimberly surrounded by his loving family.  He was born October 20, 1943, in Appleton, son of the late Lloyd and Leona (Bruehl) Eisner.

 Richard graduated from Xavier High School in 1962 and married the love of his life, Mary Lou Heil on January 14, 1967. She preceded him in death on May 8, 2021. Richard was employed with Lunda Bridge Construction where he helped build the Butte des Morts bridge. He owned and operated a service station in Menasha for a number of years and then was employed as a maintenance mechanic at numerous paper mills in the Valley.  He was a skilled craftsman his entire life. Following retirement he drove for Medstat and volunteered for several years at St. Joseph Food Pantry in Menasha.

 Richard and Mary Lou rescued numerous dogs over the years from Fox Valley Humane Society. He enjoyed watching sports on TV, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

 Survivors include his three children: Brian Eisner, Melissa Eisner, Susan (Rick) Stanchik; four grandchildren: Emilee, Amanda, Justin (Megan) and Halee; a great-grandson, Wyatt; a sister, Sharon (Dennis) Malchow; and a brother, Jim (Lorna) Eisner.

 A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Menasha’s Westgor Funeral Home, on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials are being established for the Fox Valley Human Society and St Joseph Food Pantry.
