Obituary

Kimberly Ann Kalfahs, age 45, passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2026, surrounded by family, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer and seven-months of hospice care.

Throughout her life, and beyond, she carried tremendous amounts of love, compassion, creativity, and exuberance.

Born on February 20, 1980, in Neenah, Wisconsin, Kimberly was the daughter of John and Darlene (Haller) Kalfahs. After graduating from Neenah High School and Blue Sky School of Massage Therapy, she worked at Alta Resources as a customer care representative supporting the Disney Group.

Kimberly lived her life with a holistic approach. She cherished nature, all living creatures, and people of every background. A gifted artist and musician, she was compassionate, independent, free spirited, hilarious, ferocious, and full of love. Above all else she was a fashionista, an icon and one truly ‘hot mama’!

Preceded in death by her grandparents, Edwin A. and Lois Kalfahs Jr., and Calvin J. Haller, Kimberly leaves behind a loving family who cherished her deeply. She is survived by her parents, John and Darlene Kalfahs; her son, Treyton Joseph Landeau (El Schoessow-Holmes); her brother, Paul Jersild Kalfahs (Natalie); her grandmother, Yvette H. Haller; her beloved dogs, Athena and Sidney (“Mrs. T”); her granddog, Fish (Governor Bunkins) Landeau; and a wide circle of cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kimberly’s vibrant spirit, boundless love, and unforgettable presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the joy of knowing her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2026, from 9:00–11:30 am at Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah, WI.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Moments Hospice, especially Ellen, Abbey, Sophia and Jamie, for their compassionate care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kimberly’s name may be made to The Bee Conservancy (thebeeconservancy.org). Bee populations are essential to a healthy environment, and Kimberly deeply believed in nurturing a more compassionate, resilient future for all living beings.

The world is less bright without Kimberly's unique sparkle. She was a true original, and the world feels so much quieter without her wild spirit. She lived on her own terms. Her laughter was contagious, and it still echoes in our heart. She always found beauty on unexpected places. We will miss Kimberly deeply. Her memory will live in every heart she touched and she touched many!! LOVE YOU KIMBERLY!!

I have many memories with Kim over our lifetime of friendship. One of our funny memories was when we went to shalohm wildlife sanctuary with my daughter. We were feeding the animals. All was well until I put my hand out flat to feed the pigs and did not pay good attention. I ended up with my finger inside the pigs mouth and it clamped down. I was yelling and Kim thought I was joking so started laughing then realized what happened. I got my hand free and was gushing blood. Well lets just say I was terrified of Ava feeding anything after that! 😅 i still have a nice scar we laughed about often!
