I had the honor of working (and golfing) with Steve since the start of his career at Bemis. He was the epitome of class and professionalism. Anyone in our business knows what a Gulf hurricane meant to our supply chain and the high anxiety it caused. Steve was always the calm in the storm for our organization. Steve will be deeply missed. My sincere and deepest condolences to the family. Don Schnabel

To Jean and family: Steve's obituary says it all. Such a gentle spirit with a big heart for people! His legacies will live on forever. My favorite memory of Steve was when he drove AJ and I and others to Nordic for FVCA's ski club. On the drive I learned of his skiing experience and abilities. What a wonderful role model! And we enjoyed a wonderful day of skiing. Prayers going up for all, especially his Mom Joyce, during this difficult time. Christ's peace to you all. Mary (Stuyvenberg) Heimmermann

What an amazing witness to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was Steves buddy when we went to grade school together at St Pius. We made many memories together as boy scouts in the infamous troop 9 scouting program. Steve and I enjoyed many experiences together. From serving the church, camping, hiking, biking, snow skiing, and sailing Lake Winnebago with his father Larry. How fitting it is, that my last encounter with Steve was our chat "Up North", as we were leaving a church service in Cecil, Wisconsin. Rest in peace my friend, as I look forward to seeing you again soon, when we can once again worship our Lord and Savior together, in His presence. With sincere condolences, my prayers go out for Joyce, John, Mary Jean, Jean, and the entire family. May the peace of Christ be with each of you, knowing Steve is now in the loving arms of Jesus.

I was a colleague of Steve when I worked in the Belgian/European Bemis organization and had the pleasure to meet Steve regularly both in Wisconsin and in Europe. I will always remember his professionalism combined with his eternal smile and joke. I am sorry he had to go so soon. My sincere condolences to Jean and the family. Wim, from Belgium.
