Obituary

Danford L. Sindahl, age 88 of Menasha, passed away late Saturday, January 17, 2026. He was born on August 10, 1937 to the late Harley and Louise Sindahl. Dan was a 1955 graduate of Menasha High School and on November 5, 1956, he married Marilynn Martin.

Dan was a proud member of the US Marine Corps Reserves and worked for many years, in many capacities, for Kimberly-Clark. He was a longtime member of St. Patrick Parish and loved spending time with his family, either traveling or hanging out at their cottage. Dan also enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing.

Dan is survived by his children: Scott (Cindy) Sindahl; Brian (Diane) Sindahl; and Stephanie (Edward Turner) Gumma; grandchildren: Christopher (Kim) Sindahl; Michael (Briana) Sindahl; Jennifer (Jeff) Ewing; Jessica Butler; Kimberly Gumma; Cassandra (Trent) Welch; and Nicholas Gumma. He is further survived by 13 great-grandchildren and by his close friend and neighbor, Sally. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilynn in 2019.

A memorial service for Dan will be held at a later date.

Scott, Brian, Stephanie. Sorry to hear of Uncle Dans passing. He was such a kind and understanding soul. I have many fond memories of both him and your mother. Many memories of him taking us out to Two Rivers to go out on the boat. I'd get sea sick every time but he always took us to burger king after to put something back in our stomachs. I take comfort knowing he is back together with Aunt Marilyn. You are in my thoughts. May his memory be a blessing.
