Vicki Mentzel

Vicki Mentzel, beloved mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on February 3, 2026. Born September 30, 1959 to Robert "Bob" and Joann Heinz in South Dakota, she moved at a young age to Wisconsin and lived in several cities before settling in Clintonville, Wisconsin.

Vicki lived a life of service, love, and resilience. She was a devoted mother of four, a skilled hairdresser who balanced family life with her profession, and later advanced her education to become a Medical Assistant. She worked diligently in the healthcare field, continuing her compassionate work as a caregiver long after advancing her career. Her dedication to others touched countless lives.

She is survived by:

Step-mother: Verna Heinz (Missouri)

Brother: Randy Heinz (Clintonville)

Her beloved children: Nathan Mentzel (Clintonville), Mike Mentzel (Oshkosh), Heather Mentzel (Wisconsin Rapids), and Amber Stoll (Green Bay).

Her grandchildren: Ethan, Jonathan, NataLee, Breana, Evan, Donaven, Nataya, JaDavyon, Xavier, Trentin, Mckenzie, & Mikayla.

Her great-grandchildren: Kingston and Silas

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bob" Heinz; her mother, Joann Heinz (Mahon); and her brothers Rick and Rob Heinz.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. Details will be announced as they are arranged.

Vicki’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and in the many lives she touched through her caregiving and steadfast spirit.
