Shirley Neumann

Shirley A, Neumann, age 95 of Neenah, passed away peacefully on February, 23, 2026. She was born February 3, 1931 in the Town of Caldonia, the daughter of the late John and Norma Kohl. Shirley married Bob Neumann on July 5, 1952 at Zion Lutheran Church in, Readfield, WI. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2008.

Shirley enjoyed her garden, sewing, rummage sales, and her home on the lake. She was involved in the Town of Menasha park board for 20 years and was an active 60-year member of Martin Luther Church in Neenah. Shirley loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two children: Corrie (special friend Nic) Neumann; Chuck (Kelly) Neumann; seven grandchildren: Shannon (Chris); Jamie (Tyler); Austin (Bri); Logen (special friend Logan); Aaron (special friend Amanda); Nathan (fiancée Laura); Kameron; and by seven great-grandchildren: McKenzie; Jayden; Kelsie; Keegan; Adeline; Mason; Oliver. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Mavis Kohl; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Kohl, Jr.; and by her in-laws: Dorothy (Herman) Kiesow; Carl (Shirley) Neumann; Herb (Lois) Neumann; and Elaine (Charles) Ramey.

A funeral service for Shirley will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 436 S. Lake St., Neenah, with Rev. Tyler Shinnick officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Shirley will be laid to rest alongside Bob at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Caledonia.

Shirley’s family would like to thank good friends, Karen and John Buyeske, for always being there for her. Thank you also to granddaughter, Jamie, who always had a special place in grandma’s life; and to the staff at Edenbrook and Bristol Hospice for their care and compassion over the last few weeks; and to Christian Servants for the last year.
