Kathryn Swender

I have so many memories of this lovely woman, growing up and being little with her kids having Kool-Aid and cookies with them and I remember their team squirrel Samie in the backyard that we used to feed and he would come right up to you! My family would have many visits with them over at their house and dinners and cookouts together and always lots of laughs. She was always kind and sweet and joy to be around. Very intellectual and fun to have conversations with she will be dearly missed, but I know that she is with her, dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven.

Katy enriched so many lives in Door County. She will be remembered for her participation as a member of Door County Learning in Retirement and presenting several programs/classes held at Bay View Lutheran Church. What joy her music brought to all. So many fond memories to carry with us. Jan Ziemann, Friend

I am sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing!! It’s been many many years since Chris and Jenny played together! Your family on Mason St, and My family on Spring St.I have many wonderful memories of that time! Kathy was a kind, caring and wonderful wife, mother and a wonderful person!
