Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth Kay Johnson, age 28, passed away in Darboy, Wisconsin on April 22nd, 2026.

Elizabeth was born on July 14th, 1997 to Laura Roberts and Greg Johnson at St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Appleton, WI. Elizabeth grew up in the Fox Valley surrounded by loving family and friends in the Neenah Joint School District, where she completed her K-12 education. She went on to study Theatre Design and Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. 

After completing her studies, Elizabeth moved to Milwaukee to apply her crafty degree to her true passion, cake decorating. Following several successful years, Elizabeth felt it was time to move closer to her tight-knit family and moved back to Appleton. While in Appleton, she fell in love with her “bubba”, Riley Sprangers, a country club chef in the area. 

Elizabeth was aptly nicknamed “prec” (short for precious) by her mother. She was a compassionate, bubbly, and loving partner, daughter, and sister. She grew up involved in theatre, choir, and working in a kitchen (“womaning the grill” as she and her father liked to say). She loved singing, baking, summers at her family cottage, and most importantly, celebrating Christmas with her family. Elizabeth was the life of the party; she was there on her worst days to lift somebody up. 

Elizabeth is preceded by her grandfathers, Ronald Roberts and Allen McGraw. She is survived by her mother, Laura Roberts, father, Greg Johnson (April Leigh), her sibling, Evan Johnson, significant other, Riley Sprangers, grandmothers, Paula Johnson and Katherine Roberts, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will occur on Saturday, May 2nd from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Lake Park Pub (8904 Lake Park Rd, Menasha, WI 54952). There’s no dress code; however, wearing pink or Disney gear is heavily encouraged!
