Kevin Klein

Kevin Kenneth Klein, 63, of Neenah, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17th after a brief, pain-free fight with a very aggressive cancer, surrounded by family. Born in 1963 in Neenah, WI, he was the oldest child of Kenneth and Yvonne Klein. He married Cindy Bayer in 1991 and they shared 35 adventurous years together. 

Kevin spent the last 20 years working in healthcare, most recently as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Concordia University and a second Master’s Degree in Psychiatry from UW-Madison. Before pursuing degrees in medicine, Kevin spent time in management for retail and trucking companies before starting his own trucking company. He also was a PADI-certified scuba diving instructor. Kevin’s favorite thing to do was travel the world, and he has visited 78 countries and each state at least twice. He loved to explore new dive sites and see historical ruins. His favorite trip was to Egypt, where he toured the Great Pyramids and dove in the Red Sea. He loved museums, studying history, and watching documentaries. 

Kevin is survived by his wife, Cindy; his father, Ken; three daughters: Brittany (Tyler), Heather (Nicole), and Cassie; as well as five grandchildren: Connor, Emmalyn, Zayden, Charlotte, and Draven. He is also survived by siblings Steve and Lori, as well as many other family members and friends. Kevin is preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne; and daughter, Christine. 

Please join us in celebrating Kevin’s life on Wednesday, June 24th at Riverview Lutheran Church, 136 W Seymour St., Appleton. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00-11:00 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 11:00. Committal will be at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Cemetery, 8396 Steeple Hill Dr., Larsen.
