Kenneth Lyons

Kenneth R. Lyons, of Fox Crossing, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026. He was born September 25, 1959, in Highland Park, IL, son of the late David and Mary Lyons. Ken married Kathleen Bayer on October 6, 1984. He was a 1978 graduate of Winneconne High School.

Ken enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and traveled to Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Texas, on his hunting adventures. Ken also deer hunted in Wisconsin for many years. He truly loved fishing and his greatest joy was being in the boat with his wife fishing up north on a quiet lake.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy; brother, Timothy (Jody) Lyons, Rexburg, ID; brothers-in-law: Gary (Nance) Bayer, Gerald (Katie) Bayer; sister-in-law, Jan Wianecki; special aunts: Phyllis (Ron) Romitti, O’Fallon, MO, Bonnie (Tom) Winfield, Deerfield, IL: uncle, David (Carol) Noble, Deerfield, IL; along with several nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by father-in-law, Marseilles Bayer; mother-in-law, Doris Bayer; an uncle, Allen Noble; and two brothers-in-law: Daniel Bayer, John Wianecki.

In accordance with Ken’s wishes a private service and burial will be held for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Arthritis Foundation or Dementia Society of America, in Ken’s name.
