Donna Christenson

Donna M. Christenson, age 65, passed away on July 24, 2026. Donna was born to Ben and Betty Mischler on September 11, 1960. She graduated from Kimberly High School, married Mike Christenson in 1983, and spent her entire career in IT, retiring in 2025.

She and Mike made many special memories with family and extended family at their property up north. Donna was quick to laugh, gave great hugs, and was the epitome of “low maintenance” in the best way possible.

Donna is survived by the two daughters and grandchildren she adored: Sadie (Myles) Elsen and their children Jace, Brynnley and Zoe; and Samantha (David) Christenson and their twins David and Brian. She will also be missed by her mother Betty Mischler; her siblings Vickie (Steve) Wendt, Lois (Lori Warchol) Mischler, Paul (Pam) Mischler, and LeAnn (Keith) Appleton; her sisters in law Val (Tom) Sutheimer, Doreen McHugh and Kris (Pete) Biesterveld; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mike, her father Ben, her niece Danielle Sutheimer, and others.

Donna had a BRCA1 mutation and conquered breast cancer in 2020 but didn’t have a chance against the aggressive pancreatic cancer that stole her from us too soon.

A memorial gathering will be held at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 31.
