Jane Catherine Scholz (Maloney), 69, of Neenah, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on July 22. She was born on May 28, 1957, in Green Bay to John and Jeanne (Malmstadt) Maloney.
Jane graduated from Green Bay West High School and went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Fox Valley Technical College. Jane devoted her life to caring for others. Her compassionate nature and generous heart shone brightly in all her pursuits. She had a true gift for helping those in need and was a dedicated advocate for people who were less fortunate.
Jane found joy in dancing, singing, traveling, and tending to her garden. Above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the greatest blessings of her life. Her kindness, warmth, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jane is lovingly remembered by her three children, Bramm, Codie, and Brock; her three cherished grandchildren, Gabriel, Indigo, and Quinn; her siblings, Tim (Gloria) Maloney, Brian (Karen) Maloney, David (Pam) Maloney, Barb (Chris) Cooper, and Cheri (Steve) Salmon; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jeanne Maloney, and by her former husband, Rodney Scholz.
A Celebration of Jane's Life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Waverly Beach, N8770 Fire Lane 1, Menasha, WI 54952.
Jane loved gathering with family and friends in relaxed, joyful settings and requested that no one wear black to her celebration. Instead, she hoped everyone would wear bright colors as a reflection of her vibrant spirit and in celebration of the many happy memories shared with her.
Jane spent much of her life caring for others. In recent years, she was grateful to receive the same love and support from those around her. Especially for her family for their unwavering love; her sister, Barb, and the many friends in Georgia who made her feel so welcomed and at home during the final years of her life; her brother, Brian, whose extraordinary gift of donating a kidney gave Jane precious additional time with those she loved; along with her other 3 siblings that offered enormous support themselves. As well as from her dear friends, Patti and Gina, who shared uncountable laughs and kindred spirits over multiple decades.
In honor of Jane's generous and compassionate spirit, the greatest tribute we can offer is to care for one another with the same unconditional, unwavering kindness and love that she shared so generously throughout her life.
