Marjorie Tuxen

Marjorie Lynn Tuxen (Zander), age 83, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. She was born March 3, 1943, in New London, daughter of the late August and Clara (Hertzfeld) Zander.

Marjorie grew up on a dairy farm near Manawa and graduated from Manawa High School in 1959. Marjorie worked various jobs in Neenah, Milwaukee and Dallas throughout her career, retiring from Midwest Express Airlines in 2003.

On April 26, 2003, Marjorie married the love of her life, Andrew Tuxen, and together they made a home in Neenah. Marjorie enjoyed traveling, including trips to Iceland, Israel, Kenya, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, and most of the 50 States. Her favorite activity was XC skiing, waiting anxiously for the first snowfall each winter. Marjorie was a devout Christian, always active in her local church.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew; two brothers: Harold (Susan) Zander, Richard (MaDonna) Zander; a sister, Patricia (Alan) Mudrak; and many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Irene Zander.

The family would like to thank the staff at Park View Health Center for the loving and compassionate care they provided Marge.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Neenah’s Westgor Funeral Home, visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be in Little Creek Cemetery in Manawa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fox Valley Memory Project, 1800 Appleton Rd Menasha WI 54952, in honor of Marjorie.
