Flynn Colley’s short life ended on October 12, 2026. Born in Appleton, WI, February 23, 2010, to Chelsie Towns and Shane Colley. Flynn was a junior at Valley New School in Appleton, WI. He was intelligent, kind, and empathetic, finding the most joy in video games, video calls with his long-time friends, pestering his siblings, beetles and other creepy crawlies, exploring the world around him, and finding answers to his every question.
Flynn is preceded in death by great-grandparents Joan (Smith) and Jerome Gawlick, and Pat Cantrell; grandparents Kristy (Gawlick) and Timothy McDaniel; Thomas Towns; and his uncle Eric Colley. He leaves behind his devastated parents, Chelsie and Shane; siblings Atticus, Declan, and Opal Colley, Lola Mitchell, and Elijah Routh; grandparents Gailie Hartman and Roger Colley; aunts Kelsey McDaniel, Crystal (Devon) Holmberg, Myra Richison, Sharai Polzin; uncle Roy Colley; and a mess of cousins.
The family extends their gratitude to the first responders who jumped at our call for help, the Volunteer Crisis Response team who stayed when everyone else had gone, and Westgor Funeral Home, who met us where we were in our time of need.
